She began her dance journey at the age of 4 by learning different dance forms like Andhra Natyam and Bharatanatyam. She began her Kuchipudi journey in 2003 learning Padma Bhushan Sri Vempati Chinnasatyam’s style under the tutelage of Smt. Uma Devulapally followed by Smt. Vimmi Eeswar and Smt. Padmavani Mosalikanti.

With a Masters’ in Quality Management, Prathyusha strives to achieve a balance between home, work and dance. She received many accolades that include Balaratna award and Guiness World records for dance. Having performed at various prestigious festivals globally, she is happy to have found a place that enables her to pass down the knowledge of this vibrant and graceful art form to her students.

"My daughter started learning Kuchipudi from Prathyusha garu since a few months now. She is an inspirational teacher and it's clear that she loves to share her extensive knowledge with students of all ages and abilities. She will not tolerate anything other than perfection and tries to achieve that with enormous patience, kindness and empathy to challenging needs of the student. This is very evident from the hard work that my daughter is willing to commit to and the milestones she has achieved in a very short time. My daughter enjoys her classes and always look forward to the next sessions."

"I'm happy to enroll my daughter at Laasyam. Prathyusha garu is a wonderfully kind, dedicated and patient teacher who makes a huge effort to get to know her pupils. She is accomodating and encouraging, taking time to really explain the technique and the feel of each movement. She focuses not just on dance but on body conditioning to be able to do dance. She always make sure that students understand and learn dance through constant practice. I'm really impressed by her teaching method. I would recommend her classes to anyone, whether they are 4 and destined for the stage or 54 and wanting to learn a new skill and improve fitness."
